How Amazon Works

Today is a day of posting links to really interesting articles.

First up, Eugene Wei wrote an interesting analytical blog post about why Amazon’s business model is one that aims to have low margins:

And secondly, The Guardian posted a piece on how Amazon struggles with its customer book reviews. Personally, I don’t think they should take sides, and this post briefly outlines some of the problems of the sock puppet reviews.
